The Awkward Robot returns to entertain while four unique artists showcase their individual styles.
In the month of July, The Awkward Robot returns to entertain on July 8th, 2011 from 6 to 9 PM alongside bands VCOD and COMMA, and four unique artists: Sam Paolini, Courtney Elwell, James Willette, and Sara Richard.

Sam Paolini hails from Exeter, NH with her psychedelic and colorful artwork. She currently runs a free artistic and musical promotional magazine titled "Wrong Brain" and previously organized a show titled "Emerging Artists" in Exeter in 2010.

Courtney Elwell hails from Manchester, NH and titles herself as a "nomadic artist." With bold figurative works, she works best in large scale acrylic on canvas. She has previously exhibited prints at The Steez Gallery during the Salon Show! in April of this year.

James Willette hails from Manchester, NH and currently attends the New Hampshire Institute of Art for photography. He will be showing his semi-abstracted black and white cloudscape photography and tubular photographs.

Sara Richard hails from Providence, RI. Her artwork combines definitive line art qualities and recognizable forms with flowing abstraction. She previously graduated Columbus College of Art and Design for illustration.
The Awkward Robot is a band with influences from Kevin Devine, Bright Eyes, and Bob Dylan, originally hailing from New Hampshire and relocated to Austin, TX. The Awkward Robot is returning to their home scene to play a return show specifically at The Steez Gallery! The Awkward Robot will be playing at 7 PM.
