Come join us for the grand re-opening at The Steez Gallery on 4/20/2011! We will be a hosting a salon style showing of artwork.
Traditionally, a "salon" style event was an annual exhibition of the work of living artists held by the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture in Paris, originally in the Salon d'Apollon in the Louvre in 1667. Today, we celebrate a "salon style" showing as an event where artwork is hung from ceiling to floor, fitting as much artwork as can be shown on each wall. WHAT:
Anything. Photo, multimedia, illustration, digital, abstract, traditional, etc, any and all welcome. Unfortunately at this time we do not have a setup to support individual 3D pieces, but hang-able 3D pieces are definitely a plus.

REQUIREMENTS:
Please have your piece presentable. Matted works are fine, but please, no single prints without matting.

OTHER DETAILS:
The Steez Gallery is a high end glass shop which will be having a grand reopening on 4/20! The Steez Gallery does not charge an entry fee for submissions to this event, but does take 40% commission of all sales, so please price your work accordingly.
